As a small business, teams international is not required to appoint a data protection officer.

The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Law provide the legal basis for the capture, storage and processing of personal data by teams international.

Personal data and use of the website
The website www.teams-international.de, including all individual pages therein, may be accessed without providing personal data. This website does not use cookies, analysis tools, trackers, or other techniques to track the access patterns of individual users. Links lead directly to the designated pages and contain no additional tracking functions. Nonetheless, each act of accessing the website by a user inevitably leaves certain data tracks in the log files on the server (located in Germany), which are logged and stored by the provider in compliance with the relevant legal regulations, and may need to be passed on to authorised parties (e.g., law enforcement agencies). In particular, the following data will be captured: the file name of the page(s) accessed, date and time of access, the volume of data transmitted, confirmation of successful data transfer, the Web browser used, the domain from which the request was made or, where applicable, the website from which the user was referred to teams international (referrer address), and the IP address of the device from which the request was made. The capture of this data is necessary to ensure the proper functioning and security of the website, and/or to facilitate tracing by authorized law enforcement agencies in the event of suspicion of cybercrime. While the logged data is evaluated for statistical purposes, at this point no processing of personal data takes place. teams international cannot use this data to discover information about any person who accessed the website. The data tracks are deleted in accordance with legal regulations once they are no longer required for the purposes outlined above.

Capture, storage and processing of personal data in the course of business relations with teams international
Personal data is only captured by teams international if and insofar as data subjects (e.g. clients, vendors or freelance collaborators) send it to us by e-mail or other means, or
1. if the data subjects have given their consent for the purposes inherent in GDPR article 6 (1)
or
2. if the processing of said data is required for execution of a contract between teams international and the data subject or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures due to a request of the data subject, as per GDPR article 6 (1) b)
or
3. if the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation by teams international, as per GDPR article 6 (1) c)

Data subjects and relevant data
Data subjects include prospective clients and business partners (clients and their authorised representatives, vendors and their authorised representatives, and freelance collaborators) of teams international.
The following data is captured:
1. Personal data of prospective clients: address and contact details, information about the nature of service requested.
2. address and contact details of the organisation or enterprise making the request, or their authorised representatives, as well as of the contact person relevant to the request. Information on the ongoing service provision. Our bank also captures data pertaining to financial transactions and displays these on bank statements.

Purpose and nature of processing of personal data
teams international stores personal data through a non-automated process in an internal client file that is not accessible to third parties. Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR, specifically articles 5 and 6, exclusively for the purposes of responding to enquiries by prospective clients, for the ongoing management of customer relationships, and in fulfilment of business orders (e.g., communication, invoicing and payment).

Recipients of personal data
Only the owner, Dagmar Schweizer, has access to the client file of teams international. Personal data is handled with utmost confidentiality and is only provided to third parties where necessary for the purposes of order fulfilment, in particular for the collection of outstanding payments and to comply with legal regulations. teams international does not provide personal data to third countries (i.e., outside Germany), nor to international organisations. Data relevant to taxation are passed on to the tax advisor of teams international and, on their request, to the responsible tax authorities.

Period of storage of personal data
Personal data is stored by teams international only for as long as is required for the purposes of storage and processing. Beyond this, the duration of storage is subject to the relevant contractual or legally mandated storage periods.

Rights to information, deletion, rectification and non-processing of personal data
Data subjects have the right to information on data held relating to them. They have the right to ensure the rectification of incomplete or incorrect personal data. They have the right to have their personal data deleted or to revoke their consent as per GDPR article 6 (1) a), provided that no legislation or contractual arrangements preclude the deletion or non-processing of that data.

In order to exercise these rights, it suffices that they send a simple message in writing to teams international, for example by e-mail to info@teams-international.de. The data controller (business owner or her authorised representative) will promptly comply with this request. Data subjects will not accrue any costs in relation to information provided, nor in relation to the deletion, correction or non-processing of their data.

Data subjects also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the case of teams international, the responsible supervisory authority is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht).

Duty to provide personal data
Persons wishing to enter into a business relationship with teams international are obliged to make available the necessary personal data. If a party refuses to provide the personal data necessary for the conclusion of a contractual agreement, this may prevent teams international from delivering the desired service (i.e., it may not be possible to conclude a contract).

Automated decision-making processes and profiling
teams international does not practise any form of automated decision-making and/or profiling. Furthermore, no data is captured, stored or processed in relation to uninvolved third parties who are neither in a business relationship with teams international nor have shown interest in developing such a relationship.

Security notice
While teams international endeavours to undertake all available technical and organizational measures to store any personal data in such a way that it is not accessible by third parties, teams international cannot guarantee that e-mail communications will not be intercepted and recommend that postal services be used to send confidential information.
